I received the MS degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Valencia (UPV) in 1998, and a Ph.D. from the Institut National Polytechnique of Toulouse (INPT) in 2002. My thesis was carried out in the dependable computing group of the LAAS-CNRS, a public-sector research laboratory in Toulouse, France. It was supervised by Jean-Charles Fabre and Pascale Thevenod-Fosse and it focused on the validation of reflective fault-tolerant systems. The investigation was partially supported by France-Telecom and the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique). It benefited from a bilateral collaboration between the CNRS and the JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) that let me to spend one month at the Tsukuba University in Japan, where I worked with the professor Shigeru Chiba. In February 2003, I integrated the Fault-Tolerant Systems Research Group (GSTF) of the UPV where I worked for the European project DBench. My current research concerns the definition of dependability and security benchmarks for wireless distributed systems. I combine this investigation with teaching relating to mobile computing. Currently, I am applying to a junior professor (ayudante doctor) position at the department of computer engineering of the UPV.
