Abstract:
The Human-Computer Interaction is challenging the use of many modalities to interact with an application. The e-Learning environments interfaces are been exposed to this diversity of modalities, but they are designed to be used with a limited set. The impact is that users have interaction problems caused by the cross modality. The e-Learning environments need to evolve allowing users to interact with a more broadly interaction styles. One solution is adopt Multimodal Interaction concepts, improving the usability and accessibility of the e-Learning environment and make possible to embrace better learning contexts, property that we define as learnability.
