Abstract:
Thanks to technology, the world is getting smaller and smaller every day. We are moving towards the model in which we do not have to be in the same place where our employer is located. Remote, scattered teams are something that we encounter every day. In our research, we explore methods and strategies that will allow to increase the efficiency of teamwork using augmented reality. We are looking for a way to bring a low-cost software platform that will allow to create augmented reality sessions and bring 3D objects into the world of each person. These objects should be shared but should also be independent on some level for every participant. Such platform can help with the problem of availability of augmented reality for a wider audience. This paper provides an overview of research done in this field and our thoughts related to the topic and description of a working prototype.
