Tracing Structural Changes of Adaptive Systems

Abstract:
The internal structure of an adaptive system is subject to change. An unforeseen and unwanted component composition can cause serious malfunction in a system, which can be difficult to track. Knowledge of the system’s internal structure at runtime helps to understand the system and, in the end, helps to test a system more thoroughly. In this paper, we present the provisional result of our ongoing research on an approach that tests the reconfiguration of adaptive systems.
