Abstract:
Dynamic software adaptation addresses software systems that need to change their behavior at run-time. A software adaptation pattern models how the components that make up an architecture pattern cooperate to change the software configuration at run-time. This paper describes a model-based run-time adaptation pattern for distributed hierarchical service coordination in service-oriented applications, in which multiple service coordinators are organized in a distributed hierarchical configuration.
