Abstract:
The software defined networking (SDN) has become one of the popular subject in the information and communication technologies domain. However, the most of existing researches in wireless network area provide theoretical concepts with SDN and hardly show the results based on the implementation of their SDN network. Moreover, the industry requires useful application by using SDN controller. In order to satisfy these requirements, in this paper, we propose a new high availability (HA) solution for wireless local area netwrok (WLAN) by using open network operating system (ONOS) controller. Experimental results under implementation environment show that our proposed scheme can support the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
