Abstract:
For various research and industry purposes, knowledge of the characteristics of human mobility is required. In this paper, we will estimate the speed distribution of everyday human mobility using the unit of 0.01 m/s. From various smart mobile devices, a huge number of positioning data were collected, from which human mobile speed values are calculated. In a range of speed up to 108 Km/hour and 180Km/hour, we fit the speed data into probability distribution functions in order to establish a base for human mobility research, to which we believe this paper can make a significant contribution.
