Controllability of a Model of Treatment Response to Combined Anticancer Therapy

Abstract:
The controllability of a combination of antiangiogenic treatment and chemotherapy for cancer is considered in the paper. The treatment is modeled as a two-dimensional control action in the second order dynamical system described by a model belonging to a class proposed so far. Sufficient conditions of local constrained controllability are found and verified for the model and their biological interpretation is presented.
