Abstract:
In this paper, the benefits of user participation in value creation in the information technology (IT) development process are discussed. The literature studies allow for the conclusion that user role is very important and new methods are developed to increase user participation. The research results indicate that the user participation, although requested, is limited, therefore in the paper some changes are suggested.
