Abstract:
The objective of this study is thus to investigate how IS can enable organizational capabilities that may lead to organizational innovativeness. (i.e., an organization’s potency to generate innovations). To do so, we review the innovation and IS literatures and use structuration theory to propose a research model, its related hypotheses and methodological aspects tied to its validation. Finally, the proposed model’s anticipated contributions are discussed.
