Abstract:
In this paper the general idea of the DIMAP project is presented. The ultimate goal of the project is to fabricate innovative applications using new additive manufacturing technologies. In order to do so, four new materials and a new generation of 3D printers are developed. The eight main objectives of the project are described, in order to present the backbone of the concept. Then a status of the project is given and the future work is explained. The DIMAP project is application-driven and intends to lead to advances in additive manufacturing technologies, therefore this paper is strongly relevant to the ADAAM symposium.
