Abstract:
A method for determination of food contaminants, including pesticides, is described in this document. Using Visible Near InfraRed spectroscopy results obtained from food samples with different levels of pollution, the creation of pesticides free food filters were realized. Methodology and data extraction are meticulously addressed. Finally, implementation of these filters in an embedded device, communicating with smartphone application is discussed allowing users to monitor food contaminants
