Abstract:
Nowadays, simulation tools have become essential. They allow to study and understand complexes actions that may be impossible to study in situ. In this paper we introduce an approach to use Discrete Event System Specification model as agents and finally create an original platform which allows using DEVS framework and a Multi Agent System platform working together to simulate population dynamics. We first apply this approach on anthill model and then the final approach to a fish model. Ants’ basic behaviors are added successfully in DEVS formalism.
