WACIC Method – A Web Analytics Process to Perform Continuous Improvement in Digital Environments

Abstract:
The Web universe expands every day, providing access to multiple sources of information using different platforms and devices. Due to the increasing number of online users in the world, there are several reasons why corporations became interested in analyzing the traffic on their websites. From small to medium sized businesses, this analysis means dealing with large volumes of data, which can become a real struggle to perform without the support of Web Data Tools. In order to deal with this challenge, this paper proposes the WACIC- a Web Analytics Process to perform continuous improvement in digital environments. Beside the process definition, the paper proposes a set of artifacts to help the discussion and to register decisions.
