Hybrid DCT-CT Digital Image Adaptive Watermarking

Abstract:
This paper proposes a robust and blind digital image watermarking which uses a correlation based algorithm to embed a binary pseudo-random sequence into a grayscale host image. This scheme applies a combination of Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) and Contourlet Transform (CT). Due to increasing the imperceptibility of embedded watermark, the power of watermark is varying in different regions of host image. The varying watermark power calculation is based on fuzzy decision. Experimental results show that the proposed method is robust against both geometric and non-geometric attacks.
