Abstract:
In the present competitive telecom scenario, an intention of any operator is to increase the size of the network and establish more connectivity between its users. This can be achieved either by adding new customers to the network or by increasing number of links in the network. In this paper we present a method called triad formation for increasing the connectivity in the network. Community detection has been done on the network before to set up the triads for efficient results. The communities formed are based on the modularity factor. The proposed method will resolve possible new combination of edges between nodes which are not connected earlier and it has a strong connection with a common node. The effectiveness of the triad formation is demonstrated on a huge telecom data and its importance is highlighted.
