Abstract:
This work in progress reports on the implementation of a data mining system aimed at predicting the final GPA of healthcare students within the context of our learning environment called IPSims. The predictions are based on the user profile, and their choices and preferences within IPSims. The intended predictions will use various well-known and widely used IT technologies and data mining techniques combined in such a way to overcome the complexity of IPSims and its associated disaggregation variables. The present work shows the application of well-known data mining techniques within the environment called IPSims.
