A Framework for Semantic Web of Patent Information

Abstract:
This paper aims to propose a framework for an ontology-based semantic web of patent information by employing PATExpert, which is based on the ontological approach of constructing knowledge and technique from patent documents. This method will analyze patent infringement issues from judicial judgments in the USA and Europe. Having examined relative patent documents and the analysis of patent infringement by comparison, one can identify particular kinds of products and technologies that are interrelated with the analysis of the two different databases while enhancing the feasible construction of the semantic web for patent information.
