Abstract:
In this paper, we present a Quality-of-Service (QoS)-aware interference control scheme in femtocell networks. The proposed scheme dynamically adjusts the transmission power of Home Evolved Node B (HeNB) based on its “troubling” property and “servicing” property so as to balance the provisioning of QoS for users and the avoidance of interference to neighboring HeNBs. The simulation results illustrate that our approach can effectively improve the efficiency of resource utilization and aggregate throughput of the femtocell networks in comparison with other schemes.
