Abstract:
The paper presents a collaborative project on renewable energy and energy efficiency in Sibiu County, Romania. Through interactive stakeholder workshops, several strengths and weaknesses were identified. Through an extensive training program for small and medium-sized enterprises and public institutions, the project has led to measurable impacts, including increased public awareness, adoption of sustainable technologies, and significant energy and monetary savings, demonstrating the effectiveness of collaborative initiatives in driving the renewable energy agenda and contributing to global efforts against climate change. The project also produced a guide to help Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and public institutions adopt renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.
