Abstract:
This research is concerned with the definition, the analysis, and the simulation of the numeric semantic operations on strings. The motivation of this research is the dominance of textual data over numerical data in our reality and the necessity of defining semantic operations for analyzing meanings of words. In this research, we define and simulate the three operations: 'semantic similarity', 'semantic similarity average', and 'semantic similarity variance'. This research is expected to become the basis from which semantic analysis tools or systems of words, texts or corpus, are developed as its benefit. We present the simulations of carrying out operations on strings in the real corpus: NewsPage.com.
