Abstract:
We discuss in-addition to our previous paper, the creating, protecting and sharing of semantically-enabled, user-orientated Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) in a service environment. The advantages are that ELN service manages the end-to-end provenance life cycle on behalf of the community modellers regardless of local ELN system which involves individual ELN support, ELN version control and hardware/software issues. The performance of the solution presented showed a reasonable degree of end-user acceptance of the proposed approach.
