Abstract:
To work more efficiently, remote sensing applications need to introduce semantic tools which are able to express experts knowledge. One important part is about spatio-temporally which is often used by experts to make their interpretations. We argue that geographic standards could help to formalize spatio-temporal expertise. In this paper, we focus on spatial relations by giving an example on how to fin beaches by using spatio-temporal ontology.
