A Model for Global Health Virtual Communities

Abstract:
This paper presents a model for Health Virtual Communities deployed on a Global Health level. It starts with an initial model built previously, and provides a thorough analysis of the components needed on a Global Health level, in order to provide a successful Global Health Virtual Community. The model provides a list of characteristics that a Global Health VC design should have in order for it to provide a viable, value-added experience to the participants.
