Abstract:
This work deals with the monitoring of sleep deprivation, sleep disorders and investigative methods for their diagnosis. The aim of this work was to develop an algorithm for measuring and evaluating mental performance and vigilance tested. Computer based program consists of six tasks that tested memory, reaction time, coordination of movement and level of sleepiness using the Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Sixty measurements were performed using the above mentioned program. These data were statistically processed and characteristic values were determined for a select group of healthy people. For the creation of the program, the Visual C# development environment was used, and the measured data are stored in a MS Access database on cloud. Statistical data processing was done in software Statgraphics Plus.
