Abstract:
This article presents our concept of an artificial hormone system for realizing a completely decentralized self-organizing task allocation using self-X properties. Besides the basics of the prior hormone concept and possible realizations in soft- as well as hardware, we present latest results of our research: evaluation of a completely AHS-controlled SoC implementing the different approaches, verifying the work and stability criteria, analysis of upper timing boundaries and showing the improvement of the reliability of the system.
