Abstract:
The paper presents a novel approach of semi-automatic technique for creation numerical models of stochastic queuing systems of general type. The general model can be reduced to a queuing system of desired construction: with various numbers of queues, servers, any service time distributions and different priorities. Markov chains are used to model the dynamics of systems with phase–type distributed service times. Event–driven approach is applied to model the change of the system. The calculated stationary probabilities of possible states of the system are used to compute measures of the system performance.
