Abstract:
This paper reports on the early stages of the development of a methodology to analyse and test autonomous systems in hazardous environments, with the aim of verifying both the safe decision-making and resulting actions of the system. The ultimate goal is to generate safety case evidence that a designer can provide to a regulator to show that the system to be used will likely operate safely
