Abstract:
The complex and volatile global economic environ-ment challenges Supply Chain Management and increases the need for advanced Information Technology. To enable flexible and intelligent management of supply chains, we present an overall approach based upon a combination of Semantic Web Technologies and Service-oriented Computing. This work developes dedicated logistics ontologies for enabling intelligent provision of logistics services.
