Generic Wireless Control System – Case study

Abstract:
Due to the increasing number of various types of wireless networks and their applications there is also an increasing demand for systems enabling to process and display data to be understandable not only to machines but also to people. This article describes a generic wireless control system for data and event logging with Ethernet connectivity and internal web server. It is based on the IQRF platform and an Ethernet gateway by MICRORISC s.r.o. The system is fully user-adaptable by programming wireless module with operating system in C language and a web application using PHP scripts.
