Abstract:
In this paper, a novel platform for curriculum development and design used for creating a Virtual University System is described. The platform has been developed based upon experience of using Web-based Computer Science virtual environment. The system consists of Interface, Automatic assessment and Tutoring modules, and is used for dynamic creation of new courses, syllabi, and curricula. The Web-based technology we applied enables the use of virtual environment for computer science courses in distance learning.
