Abstract:
There is no consensus about what exactly cloud computing is, but some characteristics are clearly repeated. It is a new distributed computing and business paradigm. It provides computing power, software and storage and even a distributed data center infrastructure on demand. In this paper, we investigated what are the main security concerns faced by the customers that are trying to better understand or profit from this new paradigm, especially considering a public cloud and we conclude that data confidentiality, integrity and availability are the biggest ones.
