Abstract:
In this short paper, we discuss the design of a high- level network-wide router configuration language. At its current stage of development, the language enables us to specify basic routing and security configurations. A declarative nature of the language is supposed to be intuitive to network administrators. We have developed an experimental compiler that produces configuration files for Cisco routers.
