Abstract:
Many types of mobile ad hoc networks such as vehicular ad hoc networks have been proposed for various application. In heterogeneous mobile ad hoc network environment that consists of many types of mobile ad hoc networks, each network uses a routing protocol suitable for the characteristics such as topology change frequency and data traffic. In such a network environment, nodes between different networks cannot communicate with each other because each network uses a different routing protocol. In this paper, we propose a new inter-domain routing protocol based on the autonomous clustering according to the network topology change in heterogeneous mobile ad hoc network environment and evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme through simulation experiments.
