Abstract:
Stock market prediction is of immense interest to trading companies and buyers due to high profit margins. The majority of successful buying or selling activities occur close to stock price turning trends. This makes the prediction of stock indices and analysis a crucial factor in the determination whether the stocks will increase or decrease the next day. This paper describes an Adaptive Network based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) and critically analyses its ability to improve prediction in Yahoo stock data. At present, the focus of research is on the improvement of prediction with low false prediction via the hybridization and extension of existing methodologies. The research results presented a low Mean-Square-Error (MSE) in both testing and validation processes.
