Abstract:
The paper gives a brief overview of event driven program and its relationship with finite state machine (FSM). It proposes a FSM-based framework implemented in C programming language. In Microcontroller Unit (MCU) based tiny embedded system, FSM based software design and event-driven programming techniques are efficient in handling concurrent and asynchronous events usually occur. Finally, the paper states and demonstrates a solution of a system power sequence problem using the same framework as a case study.
