Abstract:
Requirements analysis is a key phase in information systems development. During this phase, system analysts use different techniques and methods to determine and structure the systems requirements. In this paper, the author rationalises the use of grounded theory as a technique for requirements analysis. It aims to establish theoretically that applying grounded theory procedures and techniques will strengthen and add value to the analysis phase.
