Abstract:
In this paper, we propose to integrate the Community of Practice (CoP) approach into software engineering classroom environment and develop CoP sessions for software engineering courses. Incorporation of the CoP method rejuvenates the importance of human and social aspects and trains students to be equipped with teamwork skills essential for establishing a mutually supportive and collective learning working environment, such as software development.
