iMobile: A Framework to Implement Software Agents for the iOS Platform

Abstract:
Appropriate implementation of software agents for the iOS platform able to represent their main features, such as distribution, autonomy and pro-activity, is still an open issue. Therefore, this paper proposes the iMobile Framework that allows the creation of software agents for applications (apps) made for iPhone and iPad devices. A developed scenario demonstrates the applicability of the proposed framework, where an app allows registration of issues identified in some company. The main goal of the software agents is to speed up the process of contacting people, as quickly as possible, to solve critical issues.
