New Solution for Extracting Inductive Learning Rules and their Post-Analysis

Abstract:
In this paper we present a new approach for machine learning task solution based on the new concept – the “Determinative set of rules” (DSR). We present a new inductive learning algorithm named MONSAMAX2 for finding DSR. MONSAMAX2 extracts it very effectively using some new pruning techniques. Compared to the former algorithm MONSIL it is much less labor-consuming. Also we present some ideas how to use DSR for post-analysis of rules.
