Abstract:
Data leakage is an uncontrolled or unauthorized transmission of classified information to the outside. It poses a serious problem to companies as the cost of incidents continues to increase. Different solutions have been developed to prevent data loss; however none of them can provide absolute protection due to insider negligence. It is essential to discover data leakage as soon as possible, thus the purpose of this research is to design and implement a data leakage detection system based on different, semantic driven information retrieval models and methods. After describing briefly the idea, the architecture of the system and potential methods are discussed.
