Abstract:
This paper describes the procedures used to automatically generate a complete individual mobility profile of users of mobile services, based exclusively on geo-located phone usage information and without requiring any customer interaction. It also presents the results of applying these procedures in a test with real data. The individual mobility description includes metrics such as area of activity, diameter of influence area, location and meaning of the user’s points of interest, and frequent itineraries.
