Abstract:
Quality in Information Communication Technology (ICT) domain is understood as the totality of characteristics of an entity that are important for its ability to satisfy users. In the paper, authors present a consistent set of concepts concerning Quality of Experience (QoE) and Quality of Service (QoS) modelling for information system development. In the last part, they focus on database application tuning and give an example of how the selected QoS measures (i.e., Cost, %CPU and physical read) can be used for quality improvement.
