Abstract:
More and more applications in the latest vehicle have higher Quality of Service (QoS) and more deterministic networking requirement for communication. This paper will analyze the challenge of latency requirements for In-vehicle-network (INV). The paper proposes an architecture to support that requirements based on New IP technology. The new architecture can provide the End-to-End (E2E) latency guaranteed service (LGS) for IP flow level. It can be used for IVN and V2X communication for future Internet. The paper focuses on the design of new IVN control plane and data plane especially queuing and scheduling. The theoretical latency analysis, estimation and experimental verification are provided.
