Abstract:
Enabling the healthcare infrastructure with Internet of Things (IoT) will significantly improve quality of service, reduce the costs and efficiently manage remote and mobile patients. To be efficacious, IoT and eHealth infrastructure essentials as well as their associated security and privacy issues should be thoroughly recognized to effectively manage the InfoSec risks involved. Unfortunately, there has been a potential lack of research comprehensively addressing these issues jointly while InfoSec risk management solutions are devised for IoT based eHealth. In this paper, we have highlighted the necessary knowledge while approaching InfoSec risk management in IoTeHealth as per a standard process, assessed it against standard and proposed requirements and identified the current trends and gaps to set directions for future research.
