Abstract:
This paper addresses the evaluation of data models designed for Home Telemonitoring to store various data coming from a diverse set of devices on the grounds of two previously developed Telemonitoring Systems. The evaluation is based on quality metrics, measurements, and empirical validation, and it identifies the key differences between a generic and a problem specific data model regarding their main advantages and drawbacks.
