Abstract:
In this paper, we present four patterns for nonprofessional web developers. This is the third part of a series of three thematically connected papers. The patterns in this part of the series address backups, secure data storage and the European General Data Protection Regulation. The reader will be introduced to the basic knowledge of backups, followed by an introduction to the new data protection regulations with an explanation how to handle the associated additional responsibilities regarding the handling and storage of personal data in the internet.
