Abstract:
The ability to find ontologies is a matter that has been receiving great attention each year, as it is time expensive to develop an ontology from the very beginning without using any work done earlier. In fact, this can be undesirable as many ontologies have been developed and their quality has been assured by different teams. However, currently ontology search engines need to be improved in order to incorporate other functionalities that are not common. This paper analyses tools that make easier the discovery of ontologies that cover some concepts, also providing some recommendations to facilitate the whole process.
