Abstract:
Over the years, several tools and frameworks have appeared with the aim to facilitate the creation of mashups for the end user. These tools aim to integrate semantic and nonsemantic information available on the Web. However, not all users have the necessary technological knowledge to use them interchangeably. In this article, we propose a two stage classification for this set of tools that will allow users to select the most suitable tool based on their previous knowledge. In the first stage, we focus on the interface for the construction of the mashup provided by the system, enabling users to choose the technology they feel most comfortable with. In the second stage, a set of criteria for the choice of a particular tool are presented.
