Abstract:
The Joconde database is a French database, whichdescribes about 600,000 works from French art collections. Inthe Data&Mus ́ee project, we process data from museums andmonuments. We have chosen to model the data using a knowledgegraph approach. We enrich the data of the project partners withdata from other sources. In this article, we present the semanticrepresentation that we have adopted for the Joconde databaseand the methods used to obtain this representation. Our semanticrepresentation of the Joconde database is available as Open dataas the SemJoconde dataset. We believe that the SemJoconde datacan become useful references for work on the use of semantictechniques in the cultural field.
